After the first edition in 2023, the Max-Schmeling-Arena in the heart of Germany's capital Berlin will see again 13 WDSF world ranking tournaments at the 2024 Berlin Dance Festival - an international dance sport festival of its own.
From April 12th to April 14th - two weeks after Easter - the more than two-decade long tradition of WDSF tournaments in Berlin will be continued. The range of world ranking tournaments - from Junior II to Senior IV (including International Open Standard and Latin) will take place at Max-Schmeling-Arena.
Some tournaments are held in halls A/B and hall C of the Max-Schmeling-Arena, but all athletes are under one roof. That makes this festival so special. Spectators can switch between the three halls very smoothly.
Furthermore the Berlin Dance Festival was awarded to host two WDSF continental championships. The 2024 WDSF European Championship Senior II Standard will take place on Saturday, 13th April. The 2024 edition of the WDSF European Championship Senior I Ten Dance will follow the next day - Sunday, 14th April.
As the deadline of entries for the two 2024 WDSF European DanceSport Championships was reached this week, there is the first draft of starting lists for these top tournaments within the 2024 Berlin Dance Festival.
The 2024 WDSF European DanceSport Championship Senior II Standard (Saturday, April 13th - nomination list) will be one of the biggest international dancesport championships ever held in Berlin. Nearly 100 couples from all over Europe were nominated by their national federations and are representing Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark , Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Spain und Germany.
As much international is the list of participants at the 2024 WDSF European DanceSport Championship Senior I Ten Dance (Sunday, April 14th - nomination list) - this continental championship for allrounders will see couples from the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Italy, Latvia Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Spain and Germany.
Deadline of entries for the additional 13 WDSF world ranking competitions is April 6th (23:59 Uhr)!

Furthermore, at the entrance area of the Max-Schmeling-Arena will be an information pavillon of the national anti-doping agency (NADA). Participants can leran more about doping prevention, check their knowledge at a quiz and can catch several information brochures.
WDSF (International) Open
Registrations for all 13 WDSF (International) Open competitions are possible thru competition-entry.com.
The deadline for registrations is April 6th, 11:59pm.
There are several options for the payment of the registration fee(s).
WDSF European Championships
Please register thru your national WDSF member body/federation.
Entries for the two european championships have to be made latest by March 25th, 11:59pm thru the national member bodies to the German DanceSport Association.
Nominated couples will receive a payment link afterwards. So the entries are just confirmed, if the entry fee will have been transferred succesfully.
Starting from 19,90 euros, friends of dancesport can become part of Berlins prestigious dance festival hosting 13 WDSF world ranking competitions, two european championships and show competitions in Boogie Woogie and Rock'n'Roll.
Each ticket allows access to all competition areas, most of them offer the free choice of most seats in the arena and to see all competitions in halls A/B/C. So everyone can join a full day of dancesport at its highest level.
Please pre-order your tickets online to skip the waiting lines in the arena, where remaining tickets are on sale (debit and credit cards are accepted only - no cash).
